Uncle Ed and aunt Madeleine made at least one trip to Europe and returned to New York City via the French liner "Ile de France" from Le Havre on 28 July 1931. Prior to that they had returned together on 15 September 1925 aboard the SS Olympic. In 1927 aunt Madeleine returned from France aboard the SS Leviathan in July. They lived in Short Hills, NJ before moving to Dennis, MA They had no children.
