"Kenneth Robert Dickerson of Umatilla passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the age of 72 years. He was born in Cullman. AL. Ken proudly served his country in the US Army in Vietnam. He moved to south Florida shortly after his military service was complete. Kenny relocated to Central Florida 44 years ago. He retired from Siemens Energy where he worked for 10 years as an Engineer. Kenny was also a proud and active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 4491 in Umatilla, the place he enjoyed almost daily camaraderie and fellowship with friends in his retirement. He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his daughter, Dr. Stephanie M. Dickerson Parker of Deland; grandson Jaspar Bledsoe of Deland; brother, Ronnie Dickerson of New Jersey; sister, Twyla Klingen of Tavares and many close friends and extended family. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall."
