Billie Dale Barnes, age 73, was born November 11, 1943 in Boswell, OK, the daughter of Sam Mock and Lula (Goodwin) Mock and had lived in the Boswell area all of her life.

Billie married Kelsey Barnes on February 28, 1958 in Hugo, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Reatha Inell Mock and Sammie Jenkins.

Billie was employed by Wells Lamont Glove Factory in Hugo, OK, for over 20 years where she worked as a thumb sewer.

She enjoyed just sitting around talking and reminiscing with her family and friends and loved cooking, sewing and fishing. Billie attended Riverside Unity Church in Unger, OK. She and Kelsey were known as "Ma" and "Pa" to their grandchildren and great grandchildren.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE: her husband, Kelsey Barnes; one son, Richard Barnes and wife, Jennifer; two daughters, Vicki Scott and husband, Paul and Carolyn Moody and husband, James all of Boswell, OK; two brothers, Welton Mock of Kingston, OK and Thomas Mock of Boswell, OK; special niece, Patricia Vrle and husband, John of Irving, TX; seven grandchildren, Kelbie Taylor, John Paul Scott, Katie Scott, Cody Barnes, Kelsey Barnes, Cole Barnes and Zach Barnes; seven great grandchildren, Carter Bohanan, Maggie Bohanan, Josie Robison, Kandace Westmoreland, Kennedi Westmoreland, Terry Westmoreland and Bentlee Barnes along with numerous other family members and friends.


VISITATION: the family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M., Monday, June 12, 2017 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home, 921 Hunter Avenue, Boswell, OK.

Date: Tuesday ~ June 13, 2017 Time: 10:00 A.M.
