Services for Leonard McTeer, 52 a Sparta resident most of his life, were at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Harris Chapel in Ozark with the Rev. Jesse Phillips officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery south of Sparta. Mr. McTeer died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Missouri Chest Hospital, Mount Vernon, after a long illness. He was a retired mechanic and a native of Chadwick. Survivors include his wife, Earnesteen, two sons, Lonnie, Sparta and Darrell, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Leona Trimble, Sparta; six grandchildren and one brother, J. C., Chadwick.
