Dos Palos -- Funeral services for James Howard Adams, 65, 1302 Golden Gate St., Dos Palos, who died at home Tuesday, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Whitehurst Funeral Chapel here.

Mr. Adams, who was born Feb 1, 1901 at Jasper, Ark.; had been a resident of this area 33 years. He retired from the Dos Palos Telephone Company, where he was a lineman, in 1965, after 27 years of services.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maggie Adams of Dos Palos; his son, G. W. Adams of San Antonio, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Frances Snow of Fresno, Mrs. Barbara Batten and Mrs. Margaret Dias, both of Dos Palos; a brother, Neely Adams of Arkansas; a sister, Bonnie Pierce of Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family would appreciate contributions to the American Cancer Society.
