Mr. Joe Thomas Cathey, 85, of Duck River, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
He is Survived by beloved wife of 58 years, Betty J. Cathey; children, Dwayne, Donnell (Urnada) and Damon (Paulette) Cathey and Dianne (Brian) Stewart; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Robbie and Lucille Booker, Helen Patterson, Geraldine (Robert) Dowell, Samuel (Sue) and Randolph Cathey, and Mildred Tatum; and other relatives.
Mr. Cathey will repose Monday from 1 until 6 pm in the Scales Chapel (1412 Jefferson St.). He will be conveyed to the Woodmont Hills Church (3710 Franklin Pk) for the visitation Tuesday, June 13 from 11am until noon. Funeral will commence at the striking of noon conducted by Minister John Sullivan. Repast for the family immediately following in the church fellowship hall.
Interment afterward at Center Star Cemetery, Duck River.
