Services for Pamela Goodman, age 72 of Lindale, are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale with Pastor John Roach officiating. A private interment will follow in the Lindale City Cemetery. The visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home.
Ms. Goodman passed away June 11, 2017 in a Lindale nursing home. She was born in Lindale, Texas on April 22, 1945 to Bill and Dolores Holbrook Goodman. She lived all her life in Lindale. She graduated from Lindale High School and Stephen F. Austin University. She taught school at Carthage High School for four years and then went to work for Kelly Springfield Tire Company which later became Goodyear and she retired from there after thirty years of service. She also raised registered beef master cattle and she was treasurer for the Lone Star Beef Master Association for seven years and a lifetime director. In her younger years, she rode in the East Texas Horse Show Club in the barrel and ribbon racing events.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Goodman, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Goodman and Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Holbrook. She is survived by her mother, Dolores Goodman of Lindale; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nicholas Benefield, Keith Goodman, Mike Goodman, Tommy Goodman, Brandon Sheets, and Edman Warner.
