GERTRUDE MAY HUNT IVERSON
Gertrude May Hunt Iverson, a Sandpoint native died in her home Sunday. She was 64. Services will be held Saturday, April 28 at 2 p.m. in the Moon Chapel. The Rev. Warren Pomeroy will officiate.
Mrs. Iveson was born June 4, 1919 in Sandpoint to Ralph and Carrie Ellen Hunt. She was a lifetime resident of the Sandpoint area, attending schools at Pack River and Sandpoint.
She worked at Farragut Naval Station as a civilian employee. She lived most of her life in Upper Pack River and Colburn, moving to Sandpoint in 1978 and living here since.
She was preceded in death by four husbands, Ken Hinchley, Melvin VanDyke. Phil Ferguson,and Ed Iverson; two sons, Charles "Chuck" James Hinchley in 1967 and Thomas Hinchley, who died at birth; and by her parents, three sisters and four brothers.
