RITES HELD FOR FIRM PRESIDENT IN TEXARKANA
Texarkana--Funeral Services for Ephraim Clavin Carter, 64-year-old presidnet of the Carter Construction Co., of Texarkana, were to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Rose Hill Christian Church, with the Rev. Leon Matthis and the Rev. Irwinson officiating.
Mr. Carter died Thursday night in a local hospital after an illness of several weeks.
He is survived by his widow Mrs. Susie Alma Carter; a son Calvin Carter of Texarkana; two brothers Milton and Clyde Carter of Homer, LA. a sister Sarah Carter Hilyer, also of Homer; and three grandchildren.
