Charles F. Smith, 80, of Pensacola passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017.
Mr. Smith was born in Machias, Maine. He was a 24 year veteran of the US Navy who served in the Vietnam War retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. Along with his many military achievements he found his passion for the game of golf. He was very well known in our area golf community and was an employee of Lost Key Golf Club. At the center of it all was his family whom he loved beyond measure. Charles was a devoted husband, father and grandfather
Preceding him in death are his daughter and granddaughter, Nikki and Harley Tubbs, parents, Hoyt and Velora Smith and siblings, Hoyt, Phil, and Ruth.
Left with memories of his love are his loving wife of 57 years, Pat Smith,; daughter, Julianne Allen; grandson, Jake Harrison; granddaughter, Lily Harrison; brother Coleman; sister Mary; as well as countless family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 2 PM with military honors.
