Mark was born on August 7, 1960, the son of Orval and Frances (Halley) Jacobs in Brookfield, MO. He was united in marriage to Holly R. Nowlin on October 20, 1979, at the Park Baptist Church in Brookfield. Mark worked for nearly twenty years for the Gully Transportation Company. He was an ordained Minister in Macon County, a proud patriot that loved his country, avid supporter for the Overpasses of America Association, and a member of the Patriot Guard. Mark enjoyed working hard, and especially spending time with his family.
Mark is survived by his wife, Holly, three children, Sgt. Matthew R. Jacobs and his wife Heather of Fort Stewart, GA, Jessica R. Jacobs-Payton and her husband Stephen of Macon, MO, Nathan Jacobs and his girlfriend Jullia Gilliam of Palmyra, MO, nine grandchildren, Taylor, Jayden, Maygan, Jonathan, Teagan, Mallen, Garen, Rylan, and Lexi, and another on the way, honorary brother, Richard Elam of New Cambria, several brothers, Bob Jacobs of Gulf Shores, AL, Ralph Jacobs of Mountain City, TN, Lewis Jacobs of Keytesville, MO, Edwin Jacobs of Shreveport, LA, one sister, Janice Fuemmeler of Macon, and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Howard Jacobs and Virgil Jacobs.
