Sharon Elizabeth Wyatt, 73, of Winchester passed away Sunday, June 5, 2017, at her home.

She was born February 15, 1944, in White Hall, the daughter of the late Oren and Helen Tucker Dean. She married Gary Paul Wyatt on July 16, 1962, in Carrollton, and he preceded her in death on February 16, 2017. Also preceding her were three sisters, Orene Friend, Doris Norville and Paula Hudson.

Sharon was a graduate of White Hall High School. She worked in Winchester at Millie's Dress Shop, Western Auto Store and, for 30 years, as a teacher's aide at Winchester Grade School. She enjoyed the outdoors, working in her yard, spending time on her deck, going to yard sales and reading. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and the children she helped at school.

Surviving are her children, Robin (Andy) DeWitt of Woodson and Kenneth (Nikki Ham) of Rushville; eight grandchildren, Tyler DeWitt, Amanda DeWitt, Alex DeWitt, Lucas Wyatt, Rachel Blakeman, Mariah Miller, Kyndall Ham and Karlee Ham; three great-grandchildren, Ben Blakeman, Theo Vermillion and Claire Ahlers; and two sisters, Betty Benner of Roodhouse and Marian Twitchell of Greenfield.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at Coonrod Funeral Home in Winchester. Burial will be at Winchester City Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Scott County Dog Rescue.
