Bierly—Harvey Newton, son of Thomas, Sabilla Bierly, was born at Plyersville, Clinton Co., Pa., June 19, 1860, died at his home at Hiawatha, Kans., Sept. 22, 1937, at the age of 77 years, 3 months, 3 days. He was married to Mary A. Bowersox Dec. 25, 1884. To this union came one son, Clyde E. He leaves to mourn his going, his ever loving, faithful wife, son, 2 grand daughters, 2 grandsons, 3 great grand daughters, 1 great grandson; five brothers, one sister, a host of relatives, friends.
Funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the Evangelical church, Rev. Jacob Nelson, assisted by Rev. W. O. Johnson, in charge.
