Charles Edward Shackelford, of Thomasville, passed away Friday June 9, 2017 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was born February 6, 1948 in Thomasville, the son of the late Richard Rufus Shackelford and Hattie Marie Cox Shackelford. He was retired from Shackelford’s Construction Company.
He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other close family members. He is preceded in death by his siblings Richard Rufus Shackelford Jr., James Arthur Shackelford, Betty Marie Rogers, Patsy Godwin, Nell Steelwell and his aunt who raised him Viola Dennard.
