Ms. Ollie Marion Richardson was born August 9, 1932, to Harm and Louella Richardson in Wealder, Texas.

She married William Melvin Davis and became a member of Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church in Bartlett, Texas.

To their union 12 children were born.

Sis. Richardson was a faithful member Eighth Street Baptist Church where she was active in the Mission, the Choir, Culinary Ministry, and received the Christian Soldier Award in 2015. She was a member of Queen Esther Chapter No. 132 Order of the Eastern Star.

She worked at Scott and White for 20 years as a Dietary Aide and retired. She later worked at Temple High School for five years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Viola Winkfield, Annie Mae Eaton, Ella V. Luckey, and Dora Wilson; three brothers, Hugo Richardson, Herbert Richardson, and Willie Richardson; and her eldest son, William Melvin Davis, Jr.

Survivors are: sons, Jesse Davis of Lake Jackson, Herbert Davis of Temple, Earnest Davis of Glen Heights, Kenneth Davis of Arlington, and Stacy Davis of Waco; daughters, Eula Jones, Maureen Brown, Patricia Green and Angelica Davis all of Temple, Florene Cunningham of Arlington, and Pamela Davis of Austin, 42 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
