Amos, Donald V., 85, of Brandon, FL, passed away on June 7, 2017. He was born and raised in Roanoke, VA. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from IBM in Gaithersburg, MD, was a loyal member of Southside Baptist Church of Brandon, FL and was a Patron Life Member of the National Rifle Association. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael E. Amos; and brother, Professor James Haynes. Donald is survived by his loving family; children, Kevin (Edna) Amos, and Kimberly (Wayne) Krueger; daughter-in-law, Sharon Amos; brother, Bill (Jackie) Amos; grandchildren, Michael (Donna), Lori, Sebastian, Deanna, Christian, and Jennifer (Charles); 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. There will be a funeral service on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Southside Baptist Church in Brandon, with a visitation one hour prior. He will be laid to rest at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. Serenity FH
