Bernice was a member of Lakeside Baptist church as well as the Rose Moore Sunday School Class here in Albany. She loved her church, her family and every customer and friend she met through her hobby of making alterations.
Survivors include her 2 sons, Julius (Jay) M. Kenndy, Jr. of Albany and Larry L. Kennedy and his wife, Ann of Ft. Gaines, GA, 1 daughter, Helen K. Smith and her husband, Gene of Marianna, FL, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Julius M. Kennedy, Sr., 2 sons, J.W. Kennedy, Floyd Kennedy and a grandchild, Brent D. Kennedy.
