Alice Martinczak, 92, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

Alice was born May 31, 1925 in South Bend to the late Howard and Blanche (Kamiski) Briggs. On June 3, 1944 during WWII, Alice married the love of her life, Chester Martinczak, he preceded her in death in2011. She is survived by her nephews, Mike (Kathy) Martinczak, Gordon (Becky) Martinczak and John (Sheena) Ullery; and a niece, Eileen (Mark) Koth.

Alice and Chester had a wonderful 67 year marriage. In their early years they enjoyed dancing and going on cruises together, then in their later years, gardening and caring for her precious little Dotson dog, Cher. Alice was a lifelong Parishoner and volunteer of the St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge Aux 58.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 15, 2017, in St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church.
