Cecilia Thompson peacefully answered God's call home on Saturday, June 3, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Rosa Lewis Pellerin; husband, Fred D. Thompson, Jr. and son, Darrell Joseph Pickett. She worked at Herman Hospital for a while before leaving there to become a dedicated housewife, while Fred worked to grow his trucking business. She was a faithful member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church for many years, usually attending Saturday services.
Cecilia is survived by her son, Dwight (Patricia) Pellerin; step-son, Fred Thompson III; (Tammy) Daughter-in-Law Linda Pickett; one brother, Joseph Pellerin (Hawaii) and one sister-in-law, Ella Pellerin (Virginia); seven grandchildren, Patrick (Tarsha) Pellerin, Courtney Pellerin, Ashley Pellerin, Phillip (Shayla) Pellerin, Dante Pickett, Douglas Thompson and Dolora White (William); five great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews , great nieces & nephews and with great-great nieces and nephews. Loved by many, she leaves behind a host of additional family and friends including close friends of many years Mrs. Connie St Julian and Mrs. Dorthy Meyers and neighbor, Carolyn Holcombe.
