Cotton married Carolyn Trew and they were parents of Nikki.
He was owner of Evans Septic Tank Service, serving Polk and Bradley Counties since 1975 also owned CNC Cabins and most recently co-owned Evan’s Car Wash with his grandson, Evan, whom he dearly loved. He was a member of Welcome Valley Baptist Church.
He enjoyed working and restoring antique tractors but especially spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years as of August 29, 2017, Carolyn “Connie” Trew Evans; daughter, Nikki (Jimmy) Renner of Charleston, TN; grandson, Evan Renner; mother, Louise Clark Evans; brother, David (Wanda) Evans; sister, Tanna Evans all of Benton.
Funeral services were conducted at Higgins Funeral Home in Benton, TN with the Reverend Chad Denton and Reverend Carl Haulk officiating. Interment was in Benton Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
