Beatrice E. Pearson, 95, formerly of Harris Avenue, Jamestown, N.Y., passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Heritage Village Rehab & Skilled Nursing, Gerry, N.Y.
She was born Aug. 4, 1921, in Jamestown, N.Y., the daughter of the late David and Alfreda Danielson Hedman.
Beatrice graduated from Jamestown High School in 1939. She worked as a legal secretary for Law Offices of Perlee & Perlee and was also a district sales manager for Nationwide Insurance Company.
She was a member of Thule Lodge Vasa Order of America and the Lakewood American Legion Post# 1286 Auxiliary. Beatrice was an avid traveler, she especially enjoyed traveling to Florida, Las Vegas and Aruba, and many other places. She also enjoyed going on cruises on the Holland America Cruise Line.
Beatrice is survived by two sons: Richard A. (Wanda) Pearson of Jamestown, N.Y., and Greg D. (Laura) Pearson of Morton, Ill.; two grandchildren: Michelle (Shaun) Williams and David (Jennifer) Pearson, both of Frewsburg, N.Y.; four great-grandchildren: Cecelia Pearson, Dylan Pearson, Courtney Williams and Aden Williams, all of Frewsburg, N.Y.; and her close first cousin, Marilyn (Larry) Anderson of Bemus Point, N.Y.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George A. Pearson.
No services will be held at this time. A private service will be held by her family at a later date.
