She retired from the Lancaster General Hospital where she was employed for more than 25 years as a medical secretary. She really enjoyed her years at LGH. Following retirement, Janet and Pete loved to travel and went everywhere together. She took great pride in her home which she always kept spotless! Janet enjoyed flowers and loved to cook and decorate her home. She will truly be missed by her constant companion, a Bichon dog named "Nikki".
She is survived by her three sons; Robert C. Love and his companion Pat; William D. husband of Carol Love; Ronald C. husband of Bibiana Love; daughter, Patty A. wife of Dennis Rupp; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Edith Yocum. Her daughter, Bonnie M. McComsey, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 247 Main St., Landisville, PA 17538 on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 12noon with the Rev. Scott Phillips, officiating. Interment will follow in the East Petersburg Mennonite Cemetery. Family and friends may view on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
