Helen Elizabeth Draper, 95, of West Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017.
She was born on August 20, 1921 in Tipton, Indiana to the late Everett Earl and Rosella May (McClain) Woods. On May 19, 1939, she married Lloyd William Draper in Tippecanoe County; he preceded her in death in 2000.
Helen was a homemaker, a good friend, and a PTA mom for many years. She enjoyed puzzles, baking, reading and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, Rosella (Joseph) Carter, Ray (Nancy) Draper, George (Angie) J. Draper, Michael (Amber) A. Draper and Elana (Joseph) Steckler; son-in-law, Arthur Haast; a brother, Larry J. Woods; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ivan Earl Woods and Donald L. Woods; her sister, Irene Rosella Brin; a daughter, Kay A. Draper Herron and a grandson, Joseph Carter.
