Sharon Marshall Cross, age 69, of Blountville, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 19, 1948 in Wise County, Va., a daughter of the late Ray W. and Hazel Meade Marshall.
Sharon was a retired cafeteria worker for the Sullivan County School System. She attended Fellowship Chapel Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Gary D. Cross; and sister, Carolyn Marshall.
She is survived by her children, Jonathan Cross, Sarah Jackson and husband Eric; grandchildren, Tyler, Kolby, Fisher and Jewel; brothers, Rodney Marshall and wife Liz, Kenneth Marshall and Pam, David Marshall and wife Sandra; and several nieces and nephews.
2017 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Dwight Shaffer officiating.
The interment will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at East Tennessee Cemetery with Rev. Bryan Hall officiating. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
