Juanita Allison (Gardner) Estep, 89, Anderson, died Feb. 13, 2007, at St. John's Medical Center after a courageous fight with declining health over the last several months.

She was born July 20, 1917, in Anderson, and was a lifelong Anderson resident. She was a homemaker and active and devoted Jehovah's Witness. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1935.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Cathy Estep of Indianapolis, and Phillip and Marcia Estep of Anderson; a brother, Robert Gardner of Anderson; two sisters, Mavis Walker and Joan Rice, both of Anderson; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thank-you to the staff of Vermillion Place and also special thank-you to the nurses: Tracy and Robin and Aide, Stacey of Day Break.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Mildred (Adams) Gardner; and her husband of 50 years, H. L. "Bud" Estep.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 3110 E. Cross St., Anderson, with William Houser and Jim Bales officiating. Cremation will take place with burial of cremated remains at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be one hour before service Saturday at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 3110 E. Cross St., Anderson, IN.
