COLEMAN, Jesse Ryan, age 29, of New York City, formerly of Dayton, passed away in Manhattan, New York City on November 24, 2013. He was a graduate of Chaminade-Julienne Catholic High school in 2002 and received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from Wright State University in 2006. Jesse was primarily an actor, doing two national tours and many plays in regional theaters all over the United States. He was currently working for Health Republic Insurance of New York. Most recently, however, he was the well-bearded face for a product called "Stubble and 'Stache" for which he made his first commercial. Jesse was a member of the Dayton Boys Choir, Southern Ohio Forge and Anvil and performed in several productions for The Muse Machine. Jesse also performed in many Wright State theater productions. Jesse was a big passionate man with an exceptional sense of humor. With some of his wonderful creative friends, he recorded a podcast about table-top gaming culture called "Nyerds". He loved to sing. He loved acting. He loved to cook. He loved to make people laugh. He loved his friends and his family. Jesse was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul R. Coleman and his grandfather, Harold C. Hughes. He is survived by his father, Kenneth J. Coleman, his mother, Donna Hughes Coleman, his sister, Clara J. Coleman; his grandmothers, Barbara J. Coleman and Betty J. Shirley, his grandfather, Richard Shirley; his uncles Don and Clyde Coleman, Roy, Michael and Patrick Hughes; his aunts, Jenean Coleman, Betty Jo, Kristen and Allison Hughes. He also has a large family of cousins on both sides of his family. He had many, many friends and also leaves behind a special friend, Caroline M. Galvez and his best buddies, Daniel Capizzi and Frank Dutmers. A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. Family will greet friends following the service.
