Eugenia "Genia" Lynn Everett Hurst died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, in a local hospital. She was 33. Mrs. Hurst was a graduate of Red Bank High School and attended University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She was a member of North Red Bank Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Robert Kevin Hurst Sr.; three children, Robert Kevin Jr., Kelly Madison and Catherine Alison Hurst, all of Soddy-Daisy; parents, Wayne S. and Madeline T. Everett; three brothers, Wayne Stephen Everett Jr., Chattanooga, Darryl Wade Everett, Satellite Beach, Fla., and Todd Alan Everett, Chattanooga; grandfather, Eugene Earl Everett, Chattanooga; grandmother, Nell Lancaster, Madison, Miss. and grandmother, Ethel Hurst, Jackson, Miss. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Seton Tomyn officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
