"Mrs. Marguerite Verhagen, 62, of Schenectady, died Monday in a Utica hospital after a short illness.

She was born in Sloansville, and had lived there before moving to Schenectady. She worked for the General Electric Co. here. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert MacIntosh, Scotia, and Mrs. George Zeh, Schenectady; a son, William Verhagen Jr., Voorheesville; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Spenello, Cobleskill, and Mrs. Lynn Barney, Oneonta; three brothers, Clyde Hayes, Binghamton, Irving Hayes, Howes Cave, and Perry Hayes, Schoharie, 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 2 tomorrow from the Langan Funeral Home, Central Bridge, the Rev. Olaf Johnson, pastor of Central Bridge United Methodist Church, officiating.
