Dec. 28, 1772; d. Dec 12 1858, S.C. She m. (2) and as his (2) wife, Simon Reeder, Jr., whom she also survived, and by whom she had four children...
Lydia had two children with Thomas Duckett: Richard and Ailsey Duckett. She had four more children with Simon Reeder: Sarah, Martha, Thomas, and Charlotte Reeder.
Lydia emigrated from South Carolina to Arkansas in the Fall of 1858, at age 85. She became ill on the journey, and died shortly after.
Her marriage certificate to Thomas Duckett also shows her name as "Whitmire," although other documents indicate "Whitmore."
