FRITCH — VET Bobby Charles “B.C.” Terry, 85, of Fritch died Monday, June 5, 2017.

Graveside memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo with Terry Callis officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.

Bobby was born Jan. 18, 1932, in Joshua to AA and Ida Terry. He entered the service on Jan. 7, 1951, and was honorably discharged on Jan. 6, 1955.

He became a civil service fireman in 1955 at the Amarillo Air Force Base until 1969. He married Jo Beth Hairgrove on May 29, 1954. He worked for Yellow Freight after discharge from service until his retirement. He loved fishing, living at the lake, woodworking and just general piddling. His children, grandchildren and great children were the light of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Arthur Terry and Ida May Jackson Terry; 11 siblings; a daughter, Debby Gray; and a granddaughter, Terri Beth Hensler.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Beth Terry; two daughters, Trena Terry, Kelly Riddle and husband Gary; a son, Chuck Terry and wife Renee; his grandsons, Ty Hensler, Jeremy Terry and wife Sonya and Tyler Terry and fiancé Ivy; his granddaughters, Tami Williams and husband Grant, Kandle Pierce and husband Neil and Tanna Ludlum; three great-grandsons, Tyler, Titus and Jett; and three great-granddaughters, Kennedy, Elyse and Trinity

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home Wednesday June 7, 2017.
