Martin Alexander Taylor, 33, of Fairmont passed away Sunday May 28, 2017 at his residence. He was born on November 22, 1983 in Fairmont son of Rose A. Ierace – Taylor of Fairmont and the late Michael “Mike” Taylor.

Martin attended West Virginia University. He attended St. Peter and Paul School, and graduated from Fairmont Catholic School and Fairmont Senior High School in 2002. He was a funny, generous and loving person toward family and friends and cherished them all. He is at peace, but will be sadly missed.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his daughter Alessandra Rose Taylor, brothers Michael Ierace of Fairmont. Courtney Grogg, and his children. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles Stanley (Alverta) Taylor, Pete Taylor and Sharon (Derrick) Taylor Carr, all of Cleveland, Ohio, and their children. He is also survived by his great uncle, Mr Cosimo Fragomeni, of Adelaide Australia, great aunt Ascenzina Fragomeni, of Zurich Switzerland and many cousins in Australia, Italy and Switzerland.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Irvin and Delara Sullivan Taylor and maternal grandparents Joe and Bernadine Ierace.

Friends may call at the Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Avenue Fairmont on Thursday from 4-9:00 P.M. and Friday from 1-9:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Perriello as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
