Funeral services were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. for Jack Bryan, 69, who died Saturday in his home in Claypool. Services were held at Miles Chapel.
Born in Newton, Miss., he had spent the past 35 years in Arizona. He was a former immigration commissioner for Gila County and a business agent for the bartenders union in the Globe Miami area.
He was also a member of the Winslow Elks Lodge; a veteran of World War I, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post at Miami.
Mr. Bryan is survived by his wife, Frankie, a brother, R.L. Bryan, Phoenix; and a sister, Mrs. Annie L. Martin, Belen, N.M.
Burial was in the Elks section of the Pinal Cemetery, with the Elks Lodge of Miami officiating.
