Jay Hall was born June 16, 1974 and passed away on June 2, 2017. He moved to Tehachapi in 1986 and graduated from Monroe High School in 1992.

Jay worked for the California Conservation Corps after graduation. His favorite job has been working for the Hyundai Test Facility in California City as a test driver.

He was preceded in death by his father and best friend, Vann Louis Hall. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Whitaker, and stepfather, K.M. "Whit" Whitaker; sister Christine Heath; nephew and niece, Skylar and Savannah Heath and a great-niece; stepmother, Katy Hall; and many more aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Jay enjoyed fishing, camping, gold panning and was a big NASCAR fan with Dale Earnhart Jr. being his favorite. He really enjoyed dirt bike riding out in the desert.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge here in Tehachapi having received his membership as a gift from his father. In the past, he was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.

He attended Grace Fellowship Church for a while and had been involved in the men's activities.

All his family and friends will miss him greatly.
