Joseph "Joey" Lee Richmond passed away at home on June 2, 2017, at the age of 47, of an apparent heart attack, while napping in his recliner.

He had many health problems & knew his time on earth was going to be short. He found peace in knowing that he was saved by the Grace of God.

Born December 26, 1969 and raised in Shady Spring, WV, he later moved to Daytona Beach FL, where he spent many years with his children before returning to WV to be with his mother, Judith "Judy" Ellen Richmond (1948-2009), who was dying of cancer.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles & had a special talent for detailing them. He also loved hunting, fishing, and listening & singing to his favorite music.

He loved his children & grandchildren & was very proud of them. He recently was able to travel to Daytona Beach, FL to visit his daughter, Jessica Richmond & his two grandchildren, Boe & Finn.

He is survived by one daughter, Jessica Richmond and her fiance', Clayton Gross; two grandchildren, Boe and Finn, Edgewater FL; two sons, Joey Richmond and Josh Richmond of SC; a stepson, Ray Gallo of SC, and two half sisters Cecilia Bonds and Darlene Bonds.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith "Judy" Ellen Richmond (1948-2009); his father, Calvin Bonds (Deceased); maternal grandmother, Lola Martin-Richmond (Deceased); and a half brother, Burton Bonds (Deceased).

He will be cremated in his favorite leather jacket. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
