Connie Green
Connie Green, 64, of Caldwell, a beloved wife, mother and friend passed away Sunday June 4, 2017 in Boise, Idaho.
Connie was born December 2, 1952 in Burbank, California to George Henderson and VaLoy (Tanner) Henderson. She graduated from high school in Huntsville, Alabama in 1970 and attended college for two years at Ricks, then on to BYU for a semester before marrying Kenneth R. Green in April 1974 in the Logan LDS Temple. She graduated with honors in teaching from Boise State. She taught science and math and was the girls' 7th grade volleyball coach. In 2003-2004 she was named Teacher of the Year at Syringa Middle School, Caldwell. She retired from the Caldwell School District in 2009.
Connie is survived by her husband: Ken and their three children: Travis (Ashley) Green, Brad Green and Gina (Greg) Nightingale. She is the grandmother of Rorie, Kenzi, and Courtney Nightingale and Addie, Kendall, Zach and Kylie Green. She is also survived by her mother, VaLoy Henderson and two sisters: Shelley Miles and Judy Henderson, her In-Laws, NorRene and Merrill Green and Kathryn and Gordon Hodges, Melanie and Alan Mills, Merrilyn and Mike Jefferies, Kevin and Carol Green, Loralee and Derek Johnson, along with many nieces and nephews and numerous relatives. She was preceded in death by her father George Henderson and brother in-law Steve Miles.
Visitation will begin 9:00 to 10:45 AM. at the Church and Connie's Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 23644 Old Hwy 30, Caldwell, Middleton Stake Center, both services will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Burial will follow at the Middleton Cemetery. Services are under the care of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
