Thomas E. Robison, 58, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Butler, died Wednesday at his residence of natural causes.
Born Sept. 4, 1948, in Butler, he was a son of the late John S. and Catherine G. Hutzler Robison.
Mr. Robison was a 1966 graduate of Butler Area Senior High School. He worked as a dispatcher for Refiners Transport Trucking Co. from 1978 until 1995. He also worked as a service adviser at Hunter's Truck Sales in Butler from 1995 to 2003, and he worked in the same capacity for Kelly Chevrolet-Cadillac from 2001 to 2003.
After moving to Florida in 2003, he worked for Conley Buick and Tropical Cadillac in the Sarasota area until his retirement in 2005. Mr. Robison was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
His wife, Diana L. Druga Robison, whom he married May 31, 1980, preceded him in death on March 4, 2003.
Surviving are two sons, Nicholas J. Robison of Lyndora and Zachary T. Robison of Sarasota, Fla.; three brothers, John S. Robison of Horsham, Pa., Robert A. Robison of Charlottesville, Va., and James H. Robison of Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Nancy) Friedel of St. George, Utah; an aunt; an uncle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
ROBISON - Friends of Thomas E. Robison, who died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St. in Butler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler, with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
The Women's Council of St. Peter will meet at 9:40 a.m. Monday at the church to recite the Rosary.
