Message of remembrance & devotion, from Betty's friend, D.J. Goldman (Find-A-Grave member) on 2/21/2007:

This page is dedicated to our dear friend and "family" member, "Bets".
We all met around 1998/99 in an online genealogy chat room. Our love of genealogy brought us together but after a fashion we found other things we had in common which cemented our friendships.
She would not only help us genealogically but was a friend when we had other problems, always lending an ear or a shoulder when it was needed, as we were there for her when she needed support.
Betty enjoyed helping others and had many resources to use. She was always willing to do lookups and hunt for our elusive ancestors. Hopefully now she can find out who her elusive Eolin ancestors were, as none of us - no matter how hard we tried - could find them for her.
She loved her family and was part of "our" chatroom family. Even towards the end she continued to help when she could. She fought a valiant battle, with all of us pulling and praying for her, but God had other plans for Betty. She loved angels and had quite a collection. Betty is now an angel herself.
Betty, we love you and will always be grateful for your friendship and the help you gave us. You will always remain in our hearts.
Your chatroom friends and the room pets
