She was the beloved daughter of Connie Schilling and Gary Veade and loving and devoted mother of Samantha, Sarah, Calvin and Cailyn. She is also survived by sister Suzanne Veade and brother Christopher Veade.
She was born on April 29, 1981, in Metairie and was a Transportation Security Administration agent since 2004, moved from Bedford to the Greenleaves subdivision in unincorporated Mandeville to live next to her mother, Connie Schilling, and work at Louis Armstrong International Airport.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made out to benefits for the children of Nicole Jefferson.
A memorial Mass was held Monday, May 14, 2012, at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mandeville.

Calvin Jefferson, 46, is accused of killing Nicole Veade Jefferson, 31, a Mandeville area resident and Transportation Security Administration agent who worked at Louis Armstrong International Airport.
Investigators said Nicole Jefferson went missing on her birthday, April 29, 2012. Her body was found several days later along Interstate 12 west of Louisiana 21.
Several days after that Calvin Jefferson surrendered to authorities in Calcasieu Parish after being named as a suspect in the killing. He was returned to St. Tammany to a face a second-degree murder charge.
The couple, who had divorced in 2006, had four children together, authorities said. At the time of his arrest, St. Tammany authorities said Calvin Jefferson had a history of domestic abuse toward his former wife.
The trial is taking place before 22nd Judicial District Judge August Hand at the Parish Courthouse in Covington.
