Born January 30, 1928, in Crowder Mo., to the late James Olsie and Cora Scarbrough Waltrip. She was a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. She had worked at the Kiddie College in Sikeston for fifteen years.
On November 9, 1946, she married Henry Edsel Ford, who preceded her in death on July 20, 1963.
Survivors include: one son, Tony Ford; one daughter, Phyllis Ford; two granddaughters, Leslie Limbaugh and Kara Ford Woods; and one great grandson, Andrew Limbaugh.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter Judy Ford; three sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2016 until time of funeral service at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, Tom McCanless of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston Mo.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Limbaugh, Dan Lloyd, Jim Harrell, Bill Waltrip, Joey Presley and Brian Dove.
