Jamie Lyn Harris, 27, died Saturday, February 3, 2007, at a local medical center.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories with Rev. Larry Kimbrough officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Born in Gainesville, Florida on August 23, 1979, she was the daughter of Debbie (Foltz) and James Lee Harris. She was a graduate of Stamford (Texas) High School and moved from Stamford to Abilene five years ago.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents and an uncle.

Survivors include her mother, Debbie McCoy and husband, Steve Gonzales, of Abilene; father, James Harris of Florida; a brother, Cory McCoy and wife, Eva Gutierrez, of Abilene; a sister, Tiffany McCoy and husband, Tyrese Lee, of Abilene; a nephew, T. J. Lee; a niece, Emma Lynn Gutierrez; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also survived by a special friend, Marvina Jackson; other friends, Anissa Reed, Krista Jackson and LaSonya Applin; and Jada and Christopher Applin, whom she considered her children.
