Graveside services for Johnny Wayne will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, with Brother Virgil Walters officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. James, age 40, of Meridian, passed away June 3, 2017.
He was a skilled plumber and worked for Mr. Rooter and McLain Plumbing. Johnny Wayne will be remembered as a kindhearted man who deeply loved his family, and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Hattie James; children, Zoey Heblon, Lillian James, Caden James, Eliana James, Israel James, and Soloman Thompson; father, Tommy James and his wife, Frances; siblings, Tina Kelly and husband, Tim, Thomas James, III and wife, Dana, and Paul James and wife, Jenny, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Stewart, and grandmother, Pauline Stewart.
