Verline was born to Jesse Weaver and Estelle Dickerson on August 13th, 1924 in Brookeland, Sabine County, Texas. She was married to George Heitman for 57 years. Verline is survived by her husband George, 3 children, Charles Heitman, John B. Thompson, and Barbara Sue Heitman. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Richard Wayne Thompson, brother Glenn Weaver, and sister June Quarles. Verline was a homemaker and loved to shop and crochet quilts and blankets. She was also a collector of the famous Cabbage Patch dolls. Family will be having a memorial service for Verline at a later date.
