Charlene Frances Beck , 58 of Kingsford, Michigan, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Freeman Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Kingsford after fighting a courageous four Month battle with cancer. She was born on July 19, 1955 in Crystal Falls, Michigan daughter of Alton and Helen (Holtslander) Beck. Char attended school in Crystal Falls and graduated from Forest Park High School with the class of 1973. Char worked at the Florence Villa Nursing Home, and Highland Nursing Home before moving to Goodman, Wisconsin where she was the "Avon Lady" for several years. She has been employed at the Shopko Store in Kingsford for the past 23 years. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary, Tufts Rondon VFW #2891 of Crystal Falls for over 20 years, and a proud member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Indian Tribe of Hayward, Wisconsin. She was a very proud and avid fan of the Green Bay Packers.

Char is survived by her parents Alton and Helen Beck of Crystal Falls; her son Bradley Sipple of Kingsford; a daughter, Trisha Sipple of Kingsford; and grandson Bradley, Jr. also of Kingsford; brothers, Alan (Cindy) Beck of Republic, Keary Beck (Dana Marcell) of Crystal Falls; sister, Holly (Mark) Novitski of Green Bay. She leaves special friends Lisa Blomquist, Kendra Perry, Rowan Schaal, and Mike Carlson; she is further survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her grandparents Oscar and Tunie Beck and Hattie and Bert Holtslander, she was preceded in death by sister and brother in-law, Sue and Don Stoor.
