She graduated from Kaplan University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and worked for the Columbus Public Library for the past 23 years. Always with a smile on her face, she loved the Atlanta Braves, spending time on her computer and listening to her favorite music.
She participated in the 2006 MS Wheelchair of Georgia Pageant and was the winner of the MS Congeniality Award. She also enjoyed participating in Wheelchair Square Dancing.
