She married Vernon L. Schroeder Nov. 20, 1954, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Marinette, WI.
The couple were married for 61 years and were completely devoted to each other. Vernon preceded her in death April 3, 2016.
Peg was a health-care worker all of her life in the nursing home setting. For many years she ran the dietary department at Pine View Health Care Center and then at Rennes Health Center East. After retirement she enjoyed traveling with her husband, cooking, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Harmony United Methodist Church and an avid Packer fan.
Peg is survived by two daughters: Cynthia (Juan) Agueros and Amy Jo (Curt) Campbell;
two sons: Vernon Jr. (Julie) Schroeder and Randy (Tatem) Schroeder;
her grandchildren: Josh (Maria) Hegemann, Clay Hegemann, Jamie (Craig) Molitor, Heather (Jake) Spencer, Alissa (Luis) Lopez, Lee Schroeder, Elizabeth (Danielle) Woodall, Samantha, Randy II, Delanie and Presley Schroeder;
great-grandchildren: Jordyn Walters, Henry and Milo Hegemann, Emma Grace Molitor, Reese and Mason Spencer and Eva Lopez; and great-great-grandchild, Jazmyn Walters.
She is also survived by a sister, Verna LaBombard.
Along with her parents and her husband Vernon, she was preceded in death by five sisters [ Mary Jensen; June Lebich; Betty Lacombe; Albina Benish and Mary Seidl] and two brothers. [Charles and Robert Stewart]
Visitation will be held Friday, May 18, at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Pastor Frank Kauzlarich will be officiating.
Entombment will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Marinette.
