Bertha Lee (Molock) Garret,t age 90, of Austell passed away June 4, 2017. Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Hugh Durrell Garrett. She is survived by her son Gordon "D" Garrett and his wife Leigh; grandson Tony (Robin) Garrett, granddaughters Deidra Garrett and her husband Brian, Sarah (Josh) Garrett and Laura-Beth Garrett; great grandchildren Zach (Brooke), Hannah (Matt) Jessie, Julia (Matt), Jake, Grant; great-great grandchild Cayden; sisters-in-law Fay Bellah and Helen Molock and three nieces and nephews.

At the age of 15, Mrs. Garrett worked for Bell Aircraft (which would later become Lockheed Martin) helping make B-29 bombers that would be influential in the outcome of World War II. She went on to work at Western Union Telegraph Company where she met her husband Hugh and they started a family together. She loved to bowl and was involved in a women's league in Austell.

Services were held in Gene Davis White Columns Funeral Chapel. Interment was at Northview Cemetery in Cedartown. Gene Davis White Columns Chapel & Cremations was in charge of arrangements.
