LUGOFF- Funeral services for Thomas Jefferson, 78, will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Andrew Thomas will officiate.
Mr. Thomas passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Born in Lugoff, he was a son of the late Herbert Grant and Ethel Bell Jefferson. Mr. Thomas was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Doris Brown Jefferson; children, Evangelist Claudette Murphy (Robert), Walter Brown, Thomas Jefferson, Jr. (Kwamane), Tonya Jefferson, Stacy Jefferson; sister, Lula Boyd (John); a brother, Herbert Grant; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
