Sandra Lee Hollis, 72, of Hodges, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at her home in Hodges. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Midway Cemetery. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.

Sandra was born in Abilene, Texas to Buster and Frankie Vaughn on November 27, 1944. She graduated from Hawley High School and McMurry University. She married L.C. Hollis on May 25, 1963. She worked as a teacher for Clyde ISD.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, parents and stepfather Francis Hodge.

Sandra is survived by son, Brandon Hollis, daughter Courtney Hollis, sisters, Shirley Cook, Jimmie Ann Stone and Janet Tutt & husband Ronny. Grandchildren, Sallie Drifill, Peyton, Parker & Preslee Marez. Son-in-law, Gabe Marez and four great grandchildren.
