A memorial service for Gloria Delaine Glover, 65, of Denmark, SC will be held one p.m., Friday, June 2, 2017 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Denmark, SC. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home in Denmark and other times at the home of her daughter, Tracie Stroman, 13371 Char-Augusta Road, Denmark, SC. Gloria passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
Born in Aiken County, she was a daughter of the late Pete and Susie Swartz. She was the owner of G. G.’s Lounge.
Survivors include her husband Jesse James Glover, Sr., a daughter Tracie Stroman; a son J. J. (Barbara) Glover all of Denmark; grandchildren Jessica Glover, Codie Glover, Jesse James “Jay” Glover, III and her heart and soul, Whitney Stroman; great grandchildren Addison Linder, Riley Linder; a sister Linda Bolen of Lake Murray; a brother Lonnie (Lisa) Blackwelder of FL; and her special four-legged companions, Gracie and Fred. She was preceded in death by sisters, Patsy Redd and Millina Wood, and a brother Donnie Swartz.
