Aunt Lucile, what a wonderful lady! She was a strong believer in our God and his son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
She owned a few beauty salon's that were known as "The Beauty Box" in Taft, Ca. The location that I remember is now the "Taft Laundromat" pictured here. It was on the corner of 10th and Main St., Taft, Ca.
Her parents were John and Cassie Pearl West Rankin.
She lived most of her life in Taft, Ca at 722 Lincoln St. She and Bob had one child, Adele Marie Burns.
Lucile is survived by her daughter Adele Marie Burns Krigbaum, grandson Kenneth Haun (Gina), granddaughter Lori Howard and her great grandchildren Toni Howard, Anna Haun, Joel Haun, Joshua Haun, Jude Haun, Luke Haun and Nathan Haun. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Ormond Burns.
